In 1985, our founder Jimmie Munoz, Sr. looked around his neighborhood on South Phoenix and saw how far families had to drive outside of the community to buy a Christmas tree for the holidays. He knew there were so many families who would love to have a tree, but couldn't afford the drive or the time it took to go so far. So seeing an opportunity to serve his community and also share a little Christmas cheer, he found a way to bring a truck full of fresh beautiful Christmas trees and set up shop at his family home on South Central Avenue. 

36 years later and the Munoz Family Christmas Tree lot continues to serve the people of Phoenix, bringing the highest quality fresh holiday pine trees from organic mountaintop farms in Oregon. The trees are grown on a permaculture farm by farmers who take pride in their trees, and in their benefit to the health of the wildlife and natural systems around them. 

Mr. Munoz passed away in August of this year, but the family tradition lives on. The Munoz Family Christmas Tree Lot carries forward the spirit of sharing and service that it was founded on.
